Yearly Goals:

Freshman Year

• Attend PSB Open House.
• Explore academic and career interests with your Faculty Advisor and/or Career Services.
• Review your general education requirements in your catalog and on your degree progress report.
• Read your academic requirements report and see your Faculty Advisor with any questions you may have.
• Sign-up and attend Program Planning to have your schedule reviewed and approved for the next semester.

Sophomore Year

• Assess your academic strengths and interests as well as your career goals.  Choose an area of academic study that will meet these goals.
• Review the major and minor checklists and ask your advisor or department representative for more information about the major/and or minor you are considering.
• Understand the criteria needed for admission into the Perdue School and have the criteria completed by the end of this year to apply.
• Sign-up and attend Program Planning to have your schedule reviewed and approved for the next semester. 

Junior Year

• Admitted PSB students must attend Junior Orientation.
• Sign up for MGMT 320 and BUAD 300.
• Create and build your resume.
• Research career options with Career Services.
• Attend the Job Fair and ABLE workshop.
• Find and secure an internship.
• Meet with your Faculty Advisor during program planning to review your next semester’s schedule.
• Identify skills needed for employment/ internship and attend training for them. 
• Create an electronic portfolio.

• Attend the Job Fair.
• Complete your Graduation Application and order your cap and gown.
• Update your resume with your internship information.
• Research employment and/or graduate school and start applying.
• Complete a Graduation Audit with your Faculty Advisor and apply for graduation through GullNet.
• Meet with your Faculty Advisor during program planning to review your last semester’s schedule.
• Make sure your requirements are up to date and all transfer coursework is posted
• Sign up for MGMT 492 and BUAD 400 your last semester.
