What's required before I start an ABLE internship?
Before starting an ABLE internship
for credit students must have:
- Completed BUAD 300.
- Attended an ABLE
Introduction
Workshop (usually done in
BUAD 300).
- Completed all pre-requisite
work related for the 490/491 course related to
their major. To find out if you have met
the pre-requisite requirements,
CLICK HERE.
Once the above requirements have
been met, students need to:
- Seek out and secure an
internship with an employer.
- Complete an online
application.
- Have the internship
application approved
by the department chair for their major.
- Have the internship approved
by the Undergraduate Programs Coordinator/
ABLE Office.
- Be assigned to a 490/491
class by the Undergraduate Programs Coordinator/
ABLE Office.
- Register for the 490/491
class via GullNet using the permission number
assigned by the Undergraduate Programs
Coordinator/ABLE Office.
The permission number along with other important
course information will be sent via email.
