ESC is a non-profit technology commercialization and market development organization comprised of energy utilities, equipment manufacturers, and vendors. The mission of the center is to accelerate the deployment of new gas and hybrid solutions that enhance the operations and productivity of commercial and industrial energy users, and improve comfort and reliability for residential energy users. ESC tools, resources and strategies help gas professionals promote and deliver natural gas solutions to customers. Deliverables by the center in 2012 included new residential and commercial videos, Webinars for utilities and their customers, sales and marketing best practices, and collateral for a variety of gas solutions. From 19 members in 2000, ESC has grown to become one of the largest membership organizations of gas utility marketing and sales executives and equipment manufacturers in North America with over 100 members. Members anticipate that 2013 will be an exciting year for ESC with additional focus on national accounts, CHP tools, and new training presentations in the commercial and industrial segments.
