Sales Club Excels in International Sales Competition

Salisbury University Sales Club members recently competed in the International Collegiate Sales Competition (ICSC) at Florida State. Seniors Amanda Abbott, D’Arcy Devine and Amy Kavanek’s combined scores placed Salisbury eighth in the nation. Amanda and D’Arcy went to the quarterfinals, and Amy made it to the “Sweet 16.” The competition is designed to mimic real-world activities that a sales representative need to master. The event is a multiple-round competition to determine the best sales students. Competing among 27 schools from across the nation, these students ranked in the top 10. In addition to competing, students capitalized on the opportunity to network with recruiters from Fortune 500 companies.
