Alarm Engineering was the first to bring smart home technology to the Shore with Alarm.com, and we continue to be at the forefront of the home automation, energy management, video and access control markets.

Imagine as you get home from a long day at work, and with one touch of your smartphone, your garage door opens, door unlocks, outside lights turn off, inside lights and music turns on, and your alarm system disarms. Real-time email, text and video alerts keep you informed about what’s going on at home from anywhere. The security system is the brain of the smart home, integrating all these features into a truly connected system accessible with one app.

Sales of smart home devices doubled from 2012 to 2013, and the U.S. home automation market is forecasted to exceed $5.5 billion in 2016, so Alarm Engineering is looking forward to continued growth.

Knowing that they are a technology leader on the shore, you might be surprised to learn Alarm Engineering is a local, family business. They believe the key to success is combining the best technologies available with their professional, prompt and personal customer service. They have delivered by establishing a long-standing reputation of integrity, reliability and quality with an emphasis on superior service to our customers. In fact, most of their new customers come enthusiastically recommended from current customers.

Alarm Engineering also provides fire alarm, video, access control, personal emergency protection and 24/7 professional monitoring (temperature, water, flooding, low battery, AC power loss, sprinkler activation, hold up, gas leak, and opening/closing). Visit us at alarmengineering.com for our full list of residential and commercial offerings.

Several of their team members are proud Salisbury University alumni, including President and CEO Ron Boltz (1992), Controller Alan Selser (1992/1994), and Systems Specialists David Mueller (2005) and Jodi Garvin (2007).
