Patterson Presents at MEDA Economic Development Primer Meeting

The Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA) requested Bill Burke to be one of the IGNITE! speakers at their MEDA Economic Development Primer Meeting at Anne Arundel Community College. Unfortunately, Bill was already scheduled on other Salisbury University business that day but did not want to miss the opportunity to share our entrepreneurship and economic development experiences in the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University.

The Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Hub team led by Kathy Sterling and the Collegiate Entrepreneurship Organization (CEO) officers Carlee Patton and George Swoyer prepared and practiced the presentation CEO President Nick Patterson and sent him on his way to the IGNITE! event.

Nick presented in the IGNITE format of 20 slides, each 15 seconds for a five-minute presentation. Nick did a “Great job” per Sandy Sponaugle of MEDA, and the audience was quite impressed that he was a junior in our program presenting in the same program with regional economic developer directors and other business professionals.
