In the Spotlight...

Dick Hoffman is a visiting professor at the faculty of economics and business administration at the University of Tartu in Estonia this semester under a Fulbright grant. He will be teaching graduate courses in strategic management and doing research on Estonian firms.

Darrell Wilson has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Greater Salisbury Committee (GSC). GSC is a local group of over 80 CEOs and executives in the Salisbury area who offer benevolent work and support for the local communities.

Leonard Arvi’s co-authored paper “Rate of Return and Information Asymmetry Around Multiple Restatement Firms” has been accepted for presentation at the 17th annual Western Hemispheric Trade Conference, “Western Hemisphere Meets Eastern Hemisphere: Trade, Investment and Development Opportunities,” on April 10-12 in Laredo, TX.

Christy Weer’s article “Protégé Career Aspirations: The Influence of Formal E-mentor Networks and Family-based Role Models” has been accepted for publication in Journal of Vocational Behavior. The article was co-authored with Marco DiRenzo of the Naval Postgraduate School and Frank Linnehan of Drexel University.

Paula Morris co-facilitated a Horizons workshop training on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) issues.
