Welcome to the Global Programs page of the Perdue
School of Business at Salisbury University.
Consistent with the School’s shared values to
develop global competencies among our students, we
offer and administer many programs related to
international business. There is no better way to
learn about international business than being there
according to the students and faculty who have
participated in a study abroad experience.
Currently, the Perdue
School offers two regular study abroad programs.
1.
The winter program is scheduled during winter
session in January. Students are required to
register for a three-credit class and study at both
SU and at a partner school in either France or
Germany. The 2008 winter program will return to
Grenoble, France.
2.
The summer program takes place at SU’s Chinese
partner school—Dongbei University of Finance and
Economics (DUFE) in Dalian, China in Summer I. The
courses that students can take for these two
programs are Business in its Global Setting (BUAD 386/686), Accounting in Global Setting (ACCT435/630), and
Business Studies Abroad (BUAD 396/696).
Besides the study abroad programs, we also help on
the following international activities:
international internships and advising,
international exchange programs at undergraduate and
graduate levels, international students,
international faculty development, as well as
international business curriculum, grants, and
international business resources.
