Professional Teacher Education Program (PTEP) Applications:

Applications should be completed the semester prior to enrolling in a professional education methods course. Complete your application  and return it to your advisor during program planning.

Appeal Process:

Utilize this link to apply for an appeal to the Professional Teacher Education Program.  Appeals may be granted based on the following:  1) a summer or winter course or 2) an extension of  the PRAXIS I deadline.

Placement Requirements:

You must complete a Background Affirmation form each year before a school placement can be made. The information that you provide  may be shared with prospective schools for their consideration as part of your field placement.  Return a signed copy of your form to the Field Experience Office, TETC 353 or FAX a copy to 410-548-2593.  Click here to complete your Background Affirmation.
