Wicomico County Voter Education Initiative
This fall, we conducted a nonpartisan voter education program to
inform Wicomico County Voters about the November 2004
referendum to create an elected County Executive. This project
was funded by a grant from the
Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.

The Daily Times published a Voter Guide on Sunday, October 24,
2004.
An interview with Dr. Harry Basehart (PACE at Salisbury
University) and Dr. Vic Tervala (Institute for Governmental
Services, U. of Maryland, College Park) was
taped by PAC 14 and shown on that channel in October.
A Town Hall Meeting to discuss the referendum was held on
Tuesday, October 19, 2004 on the Salisbury University campus.
