This fall, we conducted a nonpartisan voter education program to inform Wicomico County Voters about the  November 2004 referendum to create an elected County Executive.  This project was funded by a grant from the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.

The following educational material was been prepared and is available in "pdf" format.

A report, "Toward a Council-Executive Government? Proposed Changes to the Wicomico County Charter"

A one page document listing, "Arguments" for and against the proposed change

A several page document listing, "Questions and Answers"
An advocacy statement opposing the proposed County Executive (Vote No)
and one supporting the proposed County Executive (Vote Yes)

The Daily Times published a Voter Guide on Sunday, October 24, 2004.

An interview with Dr. Harry Basehart (PACE at Salisbury University) and Dr. Vic Tervala (Institute for Governmental Services, U. of Maryland, College Park) was taped by PAC 14 and shown on that channel in October.
