2005 - 2007 Presidential Citizen Scholar Program
This is the first two-year Presidential Citizen Scholar
Program. We have 21 students participating. They have 13
different majors and 14 different minors. They are juniors and
seniors.
In the summer of 2005, Dr. Basehart and Dr. Kane were awarded
the Wilson H. Elkins Professorship for a second year for their
work with the Presidential Citizen Scholar Program. These funds
are being used to fund the first year of this two-year program.
We continue to search for funding for the second year.
Five students completed the program ahead of schedule at the end
of Spring 2006 and three at the end of Fall 2006. The other
students will complete the program in Spring 2007. Click here
