Amy Anderson
Each academic year PACE sponsors the
Thomas E. Bellavance Internship.
This award was made possible by
the generosity of the family of Salisbury University's sixth president.
The award offers an opportunity for a student to assist PACE with its
programs and activities 3 - 4hr/wk (e.g., Presidential Citizen Scholar
Program, Paul S. Sarbanes Lecture Series, John R. Hargreaves
Legislative Fellow Program, etc.). Applicants (Juniors or Seniors)
should be able to demonstrate a record of scholastic achievement and
commitment to civic engagement. An interest and ability to work
with PACE on its programs and activities is desirable. The internship carries with it a
stipend award of $1,000. This year's (2006 - 2007) Thomas E. Bellavance Intern is
Amy Anderson (political science major).
