Read what students had to
say about us:
"My experience transitioning to college was
nothing short of awesome. Although I was really
nervous and frightened at first, the minute my
parents left my dorm room to head back home, I knew
that this was the right place for me."
"To be honest, I did not think I would make
friends so quickly."
"The most valuable piece of information that I
obtained from the freshman orientation class was
time management. The lesson taught me how to plan
for tests, how to finish papers on time, and how to
manage time between work and school."
"All of the activities that were planned for the
incoming freshman were really fun. I got a prize at
casino night and met some people, and I went to the
outdoor movie night. It all made moving in a little
easier."
"Transition to college life versus sitting at
home after school has not been as difficult as I
expected. The classes, food, people, freedom and
professors have paid off now that I am officially a
Sea Gull."
"The first day, Move-in Day, I was nervous and
excited all in one emotion of knots in my stomach.
As soon as I arrived on campus, there were hundreds
of people willing to help me move in and welcoming
me to the school."
