Welcome to Salisbury! Your
comprehensive New Student Experience consists of the
following programs and opportunities:
Orientation 101 is a half-day event in January.
Attendance is required for incoming transfer
Orientation 101, you will receive an overview of University life
and register for your Spring classes with the help of
faculty and staff advisors. Parents and family members
are welcome to attend (students and parents follow
different schedules). Students will receive information
about Orientation 101, along with instructions to register, from
the Office of Admissions.
The cost of the Orientation 101 program is covered by your
orientation fee and is non-refundable.
Transfer Orientation 101 Dates:
A complete schedule of events will be made
available as soon as possible.

After your new student orientation ends, the campus prepares
for all students to return and kicks off a week of welcome
back events during the first week of
new and returning students are welcome to attend any and all
events hosted by the Welcome Week Committee
- this is a great way to connect with your new friends and to
make connections with upper-class students.
encourage all new students to attend the Student Activities
Fair during Welcome Week. This is a fun and easy
opportunity for you to find out what different clubs and
organizations are on campus and to get connected.
