SALISBURY, MD---Maribel Sierra, director of the social media services group at the computer and technology giant Dell, Inc., is the next speaker in Salisbury University’s Perdue Executive Leadership Series.

Her presentation is 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, in Holloway Hall Auditorium. A reception follows in the Social Room.

At Dell, she is tasked with providing social business solutions to meet customer needs. She has served the company for 11 years in areas including operations, supply chain and call centers. Her efforts have been recognized by publications including Forbes, Mashable and ZDNet. Her work with Dell’s command center has won the prestigious Altimeter Open Leadership Award and Australia’s CeBit Innovation Award, among others.

She holds an M.S. in engineering and an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
