Workshop for Starting and Managing Your Own Business Scheduled for January 25

SALISBURY, MD--"How to Start and Manage Your Own Business," A comprehensive workshop for new or potential business owners, is scheduled for Tuesday, January 25, from 8:30 am - 4 pm at Salisbury State University in the Montgomery Room of the Commons.

Seminar topics include constructing a business plan, banking issues, insurance requirements, marketing, recordkeeping and legal issues.

Sponsored by the Maryland Small Business Development Center, SSU and SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) Lower Shore Chapter, the seminar fee is $40 per person and includes all class materials and lunch.
