Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Wicomico County Friday, February 5

SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Wicomico County and surrounding areas from 1 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, February 5.

Rain is expected to mix with snow around midnight, changing to wet snow at approximately 2 a.m. Snow is anticipated to end by mid-morning, with 1-3 inches of accumulation, mainly on grassy areas.

A winter weather advisory means period of snow may cause travel difficulties. Drivers should be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibility, and use caution.
