'Villains, Vices and Vixens' Provides Musical Entertainment"

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---Villains, Vices and Vixens, oh my! Bringing out its dark side, the Department of Music at Salisbury University presents this aptly titled musical theatre revue 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, April 28-30, and 3 p.m. Sunday, May 1, in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center.

class=""MsoNormal"">Students perform musical selections depicting shadier characters and scenes from popular Broadway musicals including “Steam Heat” from The Pajama Game, “Wild, Wild, Wild Party” from The Wild Party, “Gaston” from Beauty and the Beast, “Easy Street” from Annie, “Oh, Better Far to Live and Die” from Pirates of Penzance, “We Both Reached for the Gun” from Chicago and many more. Some songs are recommended for mature audiences.

class=""MsoNormal"">In keeping with the Villains, Vixens, and Vices theme, a gourmet dinner with a “Death by Chocolate” dessert begins at 6:30 p.m. before the Saturday show and 1:30 p.m. before the Sunday performance. Admission for these performances is $25 with the dinner.

class=""MsoNormal"">Admission to all performances without the dinner is $5. SU students, faculty and staff are admitted free with school ID.

class=""MsoNormal"">Dr. William Folger, SU director of choral activities, and Dr. Darrell Mullins, Communication and Theatre Arts Department chair, co-direct the production. The cast members are students in the Musical Theatre Workshop. Senior Anne Crossman is the choreographer for the majority of large ensemble numbers.
