Trout Receives NACUFS Scholarship

SALISBURY, MD -- Salisbury University’s Dining Services Student Employee of the Year Nathan Trout has been awarded the National Association of College & University Food Services’ (NACUFS) $3,000 Clark E. DeHaven Scholarship for 2003.

 

The scholarship provides financial support to students who demonstrate a commitment to foodservice careers. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited program that will lead to an undergraduate degree in a field of study designed to prepare students for careers in foodservice or related areas.

 

Along with the scholarship, Trout receives a trip to the 2003 NACUFS in Kansas City, MO, this month to receive the award. He also received a $500 scholarship from NACUFS Region II. The senior communication arts major is a resident of Woodsboro, MD.
