'To Undergo the Moment' Exhibit at SU August 31-September 30

SALISBURY, MD---Screenprinted art comes to Salisbury University August 31-September 30 during the exhibit “To Undergo the Moment” in the Atrium Gallery of the Guerrieri University Center.
A reception is 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 4.

Artist Carrie Ida Edinger uses bold colors screenprinted on muslin fabric and vinyl and employs her formal sewing background to create the semi-representational figurative forms on display. She earned her B.F.A. from the University of Delaware and was the recipient of the 2003 Emerging Artist Fellowship in Delaware for works on paper/printmaking.

Edinger is well known in the local art community as a teacher of printmaking workshops. She also has taught at the Darlington Art Center in Boothwyn, PA, the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts and the Pegasus ArtWorks Program with the Delaware Boys and Girls Clubs. She exhibits her work nationally in solo, juried and group exhibitions.
