Three From SU ROTC Program Commissioned As Second Lieutenants

SALISBURY, MD---Three cadets from Salisbury University’s U.S. Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program recently were commissioned as second lieutenants upon graduating from the program.

Pictured, from left, are Brigadier General Linda L. Singh, assistant adjutant general, Maryland Army National Guard; Dr. Cheryl Parks, dean of SU’s Samuel W. and Marilyn C. Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies; Second Lieutenants Robert Swatta, Christopher Osgood and Joshua Tuer; and Captain Christopher Ahlstrom, assistant professor of military science.

Osgood, of Rockville, MD, earned his B.A. in international studies and is branched infantry. Swatta, of Annapolis, graduated with a B.A. in political science and is branched armor. Tuer, of Elkton, MD, graduated with a B.A. in political science and is branched military intelligence.
