September 8 Rock the Vote Concert Canceled

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University won’t Rock the Vote after all. Following a schedule change, the MTV co-sponsored Rock the Vote concert tour has canceled its performance at SU. That show was planned for Wednesday, September 8. Due to internal circumstances within Rock the Vote, tour organizers have had to reschedule and reroute the tour. The concert will not come to this part of the country. Instead, the rescheduled tour begins in the Mid-West on Saturday, September 11. “While the SU community is extremely disappointed, it will continue to encourage college student voter registration through its Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE),” said Pauline Gehnrich, PACE managing director.
