Seidel School Solicits Public Comments for NCATE Review

NCATESALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University and the Samuel W. and Marilyn C. Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies are soliciting third-party comments on the quality of their education programs as part of an accreditation review process conducted by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) in fall 2013.

Interested parties may submit written testimony on the programs’ quality by e-mail to: callforcomments@ncate.org. Letters of comment must be received by Sunday, September 1. No anonymous testimony will be considered.

Comments should be based on the core tenets of NCATE standards. They should address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered and specify the respondent’s relationship, if any, to the institution (i.e., graduate, faculty member, employer of graduates). Copies of all correspondence received will be shared with the University.
