Salisbury Youth Symphony Orchestra Seeks New Members

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Youth Symphony Orchestra is looking for new members from the middle and high school levels.  “Strings, winds, and percussion get the unique experience of performing together.  More importantly, we are building our future through music” said Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen, youth symphony conductor.

Rehearsals begin September 14 at 7 p.m. and continue weekly on Thursdays at that time in Salisbury University’s Fulton Hall Room 112.  The fall concert is November 16.  Dues are $50 per semester.

About 50 players will be accepted into the youth symphony. Applicants must be able to read music.  For more information on auditions, call or e-mail Schoyen at 410-543-6381, jgschoyen @salisbury.edu.
