Salisbury University reopens Wednesday, March 5th

Salisbury University reopens Wednesday, March 5, with regular operating hours.  Liberal leave policy is in effect for non-essential personnel.  Personnel must notify their supervisors prior to the beginning of their regularly scheduled shift if they intend to use leave.

On-Campus Parking Restrictions Lifted

Students who moved their vehicles from main campus to the Wayne Street Parking Garage are now permitted to return their vehicles to the parking lots.  Campus parking restrictions have been lifted.  Your cooperation facilitated the University snow removal efforts.

Campus Closed Tuesday March 4

Salisbury University will be closed Tuesday, March 4, 2014.  Essential personnel will report to work.

Update - Campus Closed - Special Building Hours: UFC is operating under normal business hours today and Maggs will open at 9 am and remain open until its normal closing time.  The GUC is also operating as normal.  The Library will be open from 10 am – 4 pm. 

Resident students are encouraged to take advantage of these services.  Students living off campus are encouraged to refrain from driving.  The roads remain hazardous.

Only those employees who are designated as essential personnel will report to work.

All non-essential employees, except those on previously approved leave, are considered to be on paid administrative leave.  Essential employees who fail to report to work will not be paid for the day and may be subject to disciplinary action for failing to report for work.

Individuals who are unsure of their position’s status as essential or non-essential should check with their supervisors.
