SU President Cooped Up for a Cure

SALISBURY, MD---Holy tail feathers!  President Janet Dudley-Eshbach of Salisbury University will be cooped up, Friday, September 26, at 7:30 p.m., in an effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

She literally will be put in a chicken coop. This fowl deed will be part of the Relay for Life event at Shorebirds Stadium in Salisbury.  To fly the coop, Dr. Janet, (alias "Top Chick")  has promised to raise at least $500 as part of Team Perdue which will be camped out in site #19, under the banner of "All Cooped Up and Hatching For a Cure."

Salisbury University has close ties to our fine feathered friends.  Frank Perdue endowed SU's School of Business and his son Jim recently joined SU's Foundation board.  And, of course, the University's mascot is the Sea Gull.
