SU Modeling Club Hosts Annual Fashion Show April 14

SALISBURY, MD---AIDS and fashion are two topics that do not always go together. Salisbury University’s Pashion 4 Fashion Modeling Club hopes to change that.

The club hosts its annual fashion show, “Pangea Chic: Connecting Fashion One Continent at a Time,” 7 p.m. Saturday, April 14, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.  It benefits AIDS research by helping to raise awareness of the disease, said Makeda Nanton, Passion 4 Fashion president. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a non-profit AIDS organization.  The show features designs from around the world and demonstrates that AIDS, like fashion, is not contained by national boundaries, she said.

Tickets for SU students, faculty and staff are $5 in advance and $8 at the door.  For non-SU ID holders, tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.  Tickets are available at the Information Desk of Guerrieri University Center.
