SU Class Hosts 'Rock the Bayou' For Hurricane Relief Nov. 19

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---Just Surrender and Downtown Singapore take the Salisbury University stage during Rock the Bayou, a concert to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina, 4-9 p.m. Saturday, November 19, in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center.

class=""MsoNormal"">Presented by the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business promotional management class and student radio station WXSU, the concert also features Autumn Place, Heartstring Band, The Second Sunrise, Letterfive, Ever Since Radio and Mercutio. Additional attractions are provided by Extreme Events.

class=""MsoNormal"">Fresh off MTV’s You Hear it First, Just Surrender offers rock and emo from their debut album, If These Streets Could Talk. The band features bassist Jason Maffucci, guitarists Dan Simons and Andy Meunier and drummer Steve Miller.

class=""MsoNormal"">Indie group Downtown Singapore also performs songs from its debut album, Understanding a Guarantee. The band features guitarists Jerry Scott and Jake Rabadi, guitarist/keyboardist Spud, drummer Matt Thorsen and bassist Josh Louge.

class=""MsoNormal"">Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door, and are available at the Information Desk of the Guerrieri University Center.
