SPJ Hosts Citizen Journalism Event October 26

SPJ LogoSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists hosts an open event on Thursday, October 26, allowing campus and community members to learn about citizen journalism, The Daily Times’ new downtown office space and more.

Presentations are 7 p.m. in Fulton Hall Room 111. Speakers include Ben Penserga, Daily Times content strategist, and Julia Haslanger, engagement consultant for Hearken, a consulting firm that works with publications throughout the U.S. to incorporate community voices into journalism.
