Reuss Presents Engineering Perspective at Chesapeake Bay Conference October 17" 

SALISBURY, MD---An historian with an engineering perspective speaks at the national conference on the Chesapeake Bay in the 21st Century at Salisbury State University during October 16-21.

Dr. Martin Reuss, a historian with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, discusses "The Corps of Engineers and the Challenge of Chesapeake Bay: A Historical Perspective."

Reuss is the author of many scholarly works dealing with engineering and environmental history in the Mississippi River region and other river systems. He will speak at the session on the "Chesapeake Watershed in Human Terms" on Tuesday, October 17, at 1 p.m. in the Worcester Room of the Commons building.
