'Relevance' Exhibit Features Vermont College M.F.A. Works October 6-November 5

SALISBURY, MD---Artists and recent graduates of the Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA) M.F.A. program in visual art display their works during the exhibition “Relevance” October 6-November 5 in the University Gallery of Salisbury University’s Fulton Hall.

An artists’ discussion is 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 7. A reception is 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 8.

VCFA is recognized as a national center for education in the arts. These artists use influences from social, political, cultural, historical and personal contexts in their work. Media range from traditional drawing, photography and painting to modern new media, performance and installation pieces.

Taking on such contemporary themes as community development and healthcare, the works also explore primal human nature through light, colors, textures, sounds and movements.
