Pi Gamma Mu inducts 68 New Members

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University's Maryland Gamma chapter of Pi Gamma Mu, the international honor society in the social sciences, held its 2003 fall initiation Saturday, October 4, inducting 68 new members.

Dr. Clara L. Small, Chancellor of the North Eastern Region and member of the Board of Trustees, and other members of the society welcomed the inductees.

Membership in the society is limited to juniors, seniors and graduate students in the top 35 percent of their class, and faculty and administrators who have had at least 20 semester hours of social science with a grade point average of 3.3 or higher.

The officers for the 2003-2004 academic year are:  President Geoffrey McCool, Vice President Daeanne Kuczma, and Treasurer Clara Small. Advisors for the chapter are Drs. Richard Bowler, Michael Lewis, Melanie Perreault and Clara L. Small.
