Perdue School Offers Degree Program at ESHEC

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s prestigious Franklin P. Perdue School of Business is coming to the Upper Shore with its nationally accredited bachelor’s degree program.

Starting in September, students may study for a Bachelor of Science in business administration with Perdue professors at the Eastern Shore Higher Education Center (ESHEC), located on the Chesapeake College campus in Wye Mills. An information session is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, in room 110 of the ESHEC.

This upper division business degree is flexible and can accommodate a variety of students, said program coordinator Dr. Gerard DiBartolo.

Second-year undergraduates who are completing an Associate of Arts, community college graduates who have their associate’s but want to earn a business Bachelor of Science, and college and university alumni already with a four-year degree who would like a second major in business administration may find the Perdue program appropriate, said DiBartolo.

The Perdue School’s baccalaureate and master’s programs are accredited by AACSB International—the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.  Only one-fourth of the business schools in the country enjoy that distinction.

Classes begin September 2. The first semester’s series of courses consists of information systems for management, intermediate business statistics, management and organizational behavior, and principles of marketing management.
