Perdue School Creates Satellite MBA Program in Wye Mills

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business has created a new part-time satellite MBA program at the Eastern Shore Higher Education Center (ESHEC) located on the campus of Chesapeake College in Wye Mills.

Scheduled to begin spring 2009, this satellite graduate program is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), the leading accrediting body for business education.

“Having Perdue’s MBA program at ESHEC provides business professionals from the northern shore the opportunity to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from Salisbury University in a location convenient to where they live and work,” said Dr. Richard Hoffman, interim dean of the Perdue School.  “Best of all, they can avoid the commute across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge or down to Salisbury!”

Graduate classes will be offered two nights a week, giving students the opportunity to complete an MBA in just over two years.  The degree is a general track MBA with courses ranging from managerial accounting and finance to management, marketing and information decision systems.  It is designed to provide a well-rounded managerial education allowing graduates to move forward with confidence into leadership positions.

Spaces are still available for this new program.  For more information on application and foundation course requirements visit the SU Web site at http://mba.salisbury.edu or contact MBA Director Sharon Harrington at 410-548-3983.
