Patton Discusses "Historic Properties: Their Land, Their Story" November 5

SALISBURY, MD---Land preservation programs are recognized for the rural ecologies and habitat they protect, but they often do much more.

Kate Patton, executive director of the Lower Shore Land Trust discusses how land preservation is helping to tell the history of cultural landscapes while still allowing the property to remain in private hands.

Her presentation, “Historic Properties: Their Land, Their Story,” is 7 p.m. Thursday, November 5, at Salisbury University’s Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture Gallery, 190 Wayne Street. Liberty Hall, in Westover, MD, is among the historical properties discussed.
