Online College Fair October 19

SALISBURY, MD -- Salisbury State University will participate in the National Association for College Admission Counseling’s (NACAC) new Online College Fair program debuting this fall. The new online recruiting tool will make it easier for students and parents to interact with representatives from colleges and universities.

This fall students will be able to log onto www.OnLineCollegeFair.com to chat live with representatives from colleges and universities across the country during scheduled times. The Online College Fair site will host interactive, online events, where students and their parents can chat live with school representatives, view the campuses and learn which each institution has to offer in a "virtual Q&A." Students can also join live sessions on topics such as financial aid and scholarships, test preparation and college counseling that will be moderated by admission community experts.

Students can visit as many participating institutions as they are interested in from their home or school computer. Admission staff, faculty and current students staff the chat rooms.

Salisbury State will participate in the Online College Fair on Thursday, October 19, noon-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Wednesday, November 1, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; Wednesday, November 29, noon-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Thursday, February 1, noon-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; and Wednesday, April 18, noon-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
