Next eBay Smart Start Course Tuesday, November 30

SALISBURY, MD---Online auctions are a growing avenue for developing small and part-time businesses. Whether you are a retailer wishing to move excess inventory, a collector trying to expand your client base or an individual trying to develop a part-time business that fits your schedule, marketing and selling on eBay may be for you. "eBay Smart Start" is a course designed to take you through the registration and listing process for selling goods on eBay and developing an eBay store. Sponsored by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Salisbury University, the last session of the calendar year is Tuesday, November 30, 2004, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Room 220 of the Power Professional Building at Salisbury University. Bob Willey of Trappe, MD, is the instructor.  A PowerSeller and trading assistant on eBay, he offers advice, tips and protocol for the eBay world. Topics covered include: materials needed to start, how to register as a seller, rules and policies, Internet safety and security, seller fees, U.S. and international shipping, and selling.
