Nabb Research Center Holds Family History Open House

SALISBURY, MD---The Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture at Salisbury University celebrates Family History Month with an open house for practicing and aspiring family historians from noon-7 p.m. Monday, October 20.

The event allows those wishing to research their family history to learn how to start and gives practicing genealogists an outlet to share their research. Staff members and volunteers are available to answer questions and share family research tricks and tips.

Everyone is invited to bring family Bibles, memorabilia, photos, old postcards and other historical records to be scanned into the Nabb Research Center’s digital archives.

The event is free and the public is cordially invited. The center is located on the east campus of Salisbury University in the Power Professional Building on Wayne Street.
