Nabb Center Director Panelist at Eastern Shore Workshop

SALISBURY, MD---Rebecca F. Miller, director of the Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture at Salisbury University, recently was a panelist on “Pioneering Women of the Eastern Shore” in conjunction with American Heritage Week’s Beach to the Bay: Celebrating the Eastern Shore Way workshop at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Facility in Wallops Island, Va. Miller was selected to participate as a panelist because of her leadership in developing the Nabb Research Center into the comprehensive regional repository it is today. Along with authoring articles for the Nabb Research Center’s publication, Shoreline, and other local publications Miller, has compiled and published many Somerset County record abstracts.  Her current project is an article addressing the historiography of the settlement of Somerset County. Miller also possesses experience in related professional activities including Registrar of Nanticoke Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Old Somerset Chapter of National Society Daughters of the American Colonists, American Association of State and Local History, Mid-Atlantic Regional Archivists Conference, Wicomico Chapter of Rotary International.
