Mural Suggestions Sought

SALISBURY, MD---We are tuning back the pages in Salisbury State University’s history and we are asking you to help us keep the old memories fresh while creating new ones of our own.

We need your suggestions and ideas for the SSU History Mural for the following ten-year increments: 1945-54, 1955-64, 1965-74, 1975-84, 1985-94 and 1995-2001.

World events, local and community activities as well as campus clubs and organizations are invited to share in the notoriety of “making history.”

Sororities and fraternities are encouraged to submit their insignias, Greek letters and the years they were founded. 

The SSU Gospel Choir, football team and Seagull Century are just a few of the organizations to be represented. Even groups such as the AARP are invited to participate.

Please join us in the collaboration of SSU’s “pictorial” history! Everyone’s invited.

Student and professional artists are needed for figure painting and touch-ups. Outside mural painting will resume in the spring.
