'Media and Politics' Discussion at SU Monday February, 20

PACE logoSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates Presidents Day with a non-partisan “Media and Politics” roundtable 7 p.m. Monday, February 20, in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall.

Topics include media’s influence on politics, politics’ influence on media, fair and balanced reporting, “fake news,” freedom of the press and the increasing role of social media.

Scheduled panelists are Dr. Jennifer Cox of SU’s Communication Arts Department; Susan Parker, Daily Times community editor; Ron Krisulevicz, WBOC-TV news director; and Lenita Wesson, WMDT-TV news anchor.
