Green Fund Submissions Accepted Through November 15

recycling logoSALISBURY, MD---Have an idea for a “green” project at SU? The University has “green” to invest!

Through a student-led initiative, SU has collected some $28,000 in sustainability fees ($2 per student per semester). Now, it’s time to make that funding count.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit their ideas for projects to help make the campus more sustainable for a chance to have their ideas funded. (Students must be a part of every proposing team.)

“Projects can be small or large, whatever you think might make a positive impact on the environment,” said Wayne Shelton, campus sustainability and environmental safety. “The only limit is your imagination.”

Submissions for the first round of funding are due Saturday, November 15. Submissions for a second round, next spring, are due Sunday, March 15.
