Graphic Designer Steve MacKley Discusses His Work at SU November 19

Graphic designer Steve MacKleySALISBURY, MD---Graphic designer Steve MacKley discusses his work and the creative process as part of the Salisbury University Art Department’s 53rd semi-annual senior exhibitions.

His talk is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, November 19, in Fulton Hall Room 111.

The user experience design director at Beaconfire RedEngine, he has worked as an associate creative director for Walgreens, as well as the user experience design lead as Crate and Barrel. His experience blends the art and science of graphic design, seeking balance between the two.

With a passion for typography and font design, he is active in the design community, holding memberships in the User Experience Professionals Association, Type Directors Club, and AIGA, the professional association for design. In addition, he has served as a mentor leader for AIGA’s mentorship program.

At SU, he also serves as the judge for this semester’s senior graphic design awards.
