Graduate School Fair Held April 10 For SU, NCUR Students

SALISBURY, MD---As part of the National Conference for Undergraduate Research (NCUR), a Graduate School Fair is held 1-5 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in Maggs Gym.  With some 2,800 students from around the country at NCUR and with over 7,000 SU students on campus, this is an excellent opportunity for universities to showcase their graduate programs.

“NCUR student presenters are the very students that typically plan on pursuing graduate education,” said Dr. Becky Emery, director of SU's Career Services Office, which is organizing the Graduate School Fair. She also notes that, in the spirit of NCUR, student intern Caitlin McGing has taken the lead in planning the fair, contacting participating universities, monitoring participation rates, planning space usage and designing and distributing advertising.

Currently, 45 colleges and universities are registered. While many graduate and professional programs from the East Coast are attending, universities from as far as Arizona, South Dakota and Indiana will also be present.  For more information, please visit salisbury.erecruiting.com/stu/cf_details?fhnd=2874.
