Gospel Choir Performances May 11 and 12" 

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury State University Gospel Choir hosts a consecration service Friday, May 11, as a prelude to their 17th anniversary celebration on Saturday, May 12. The event is free and the public is invited.

The May 11 service is at 7 p.m. in Caruthers Hall Auditorium and features Rev. Curtis Austin of Progressive Church International of Salisbury. He gives a sermon for the 20-member choir and guests. The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Gospel Choir also joins in the ceremony.

The anniversary celebration follows on May 12 at 6:30 p.m. in Holloway Hall Auditorium. Carrie Campbell, SSU alumnae, performs a religious dance of praise. Area gospel choirs also perform.
