'Faculty, Folks and Friends' Returns Tuesday, October 24

SALISBURY, MD---“Faculty, Folks and Friends” opens its third season with a folk concert 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, in the Gull's Nest of Salisbury University’s Guerrieri University Center.

The event provides an acoustic coffeehouse featuring folk, blues, and gospel musicians from SU's faculty and staff, as well as community musicians. Audiences hear diverse instruments, ranging from dulcimers and banjos to flutes and ukuleles. Dr. Diana Wagner, founding producer of “Faculty, Folks and Friends,” offers the event as an opportunity for acoustic musicians to showcase their talent and as a way to pass on musical traditions within the community.
