FUN Day Committee Seeks Area Performers for Event

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury State University celebrates its 75th anniversary on Saturday, September 23, with a birthday party for the entire Eastern Shore.  Titled FUNday, a Festival for University Neighbors), all Shore residents are invited to games, sports, and a day full of activities for children through adults.

As part of the celebration, area performing artists are invited to participate at two outdoor venues that day (11 a.m-3 p.m.).  Artists interested in performing are asked to contact the SSU FUNday Performance Committee at 410-543-6030 by July 20 for an application form. and/or more details. Time slots are 30 minutes in length, depending on availability.  The festival is an appreciation to the Eastern Shore for its support over the past 75 years.
