Bookstore's Cooperative Program Wins Praise

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s cooperative bookstore program is winning praise from campuses in the New England area after appearing in The Campus Connection feature “Great Ideas From Your Peers.”

The SU Bookstore offers 5 percent store credit on textbook purchases when students bring in their receipts during designated days. Bookstore Director Lisa Gray explained the process in Connection, a regional college management newsletter in the northeastern United States.

Gray said students’ initial reaction has been positive; however, she is looking forward to the program’s redemption days this semester to gauge its effectiveness.

“I hope people will see this as a true rewards program,” she said.
