Author/Photographer Charles Smith Hosts Poetry Workshop

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Education Department hosts author/photographer Charles R. Smith on Monday, April 12. Smith holds a meet-the-author session at 11 a.m.; a poetry writing workshop at 12:30 p.m.; and a lecture at 4:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.  All events are free and the public is cordially invited.  Supervised children are encouraged to attend. Smith has authored books for children of all ages including Brown Sugar Babies, I Am America and Loki and Alex. He is probably best known for his sports-related poetry and photography.
