Atrium Gallery  Features Works by Marie Ellis Smith " 

SALISBURY, MD---The exhibit, "Tall Trees and Lofty Sentiments Paintings by Marie Ellis Smith (SSU Class of ‘93)", opens in Salisbury State University’s Atrium Gallery on Friday, October 27. Located in SSU’s Guerrieri University Center, the exhibit is on display through Friday, November 10.

Smith, a resident of Philadelphia, studied with Max Feginberg and Jean Turcot at the Oreland Art Center and attended classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. At age 72, she began pursuing her college degree and graduated from SSU in 1993.

Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m, and Saturday and Sunday, noon-4 p.m. For more information contact the University Galleries Office at 410-543-6271.
